Expositional Bible Study

Wednesday evenings, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
One hour of exhilarating, intensive, and expositional study of the Word of God. Pastor Jones begins a new book of the Bible from chapter 1, verse 1, and continues through that particular book to the end, covering verse by verse. Studies have already been done on Hebrews, Galatians, Romans (twice), Daniel (twice), and Revelation, John and 1 John. Currently studying the Book of Philippians.

Ministry covers the academics of our membership body. Scholarships are awarded yearly to high school graduates that meet certain criteria; a special graduation celebration service is held yearly. Special Recognition is given to youth at the end of each six weeks for outstanding academic achievements.

Meetings are held the third & fourth Monday evening each month.
The General Mission meets each month to provide the women an opportunity for devotional worship and mission studies. Also, during the meeting programs are developed to implement yearly sponsored events and other service projects. Some of the yearly sponsored programs are:
- Mission Day every fifth Sunday
- Fellowship social in February
- Woman’s Day in July (includes a prayer breakfast)
- National Baptist Day of Prayer and World Day of Prayer
- Mission Workshops
- Service projects including Nursing Home visitation and gifts for convalescents
The women are divided for smaller fellowship and service planning into mission circles as follows:

ABOUT OUR CHOIRS: The Music Ministry at Ebenezer is a vehicle of evangelism whose expressions are within various idioms, hymns, spirituals, and traditional and contemporary gospel. The primary focus is to aid and assist in the development of skilled singers and instrumentalists, both musically and in the Word of God. (Psalm 33:3-4) The ministry also endeavors to serve beyond the walls of the building but also in the community.
Standard Rehearsal Schedule
Mass Choir: Rehearsal: Tuesday & Thursday before the 1st Sunday, 7:00 p.m. The primary focus of this choir is for the Adult Choirs to fellowship together in Ministry & Christian love magnifying the Lord.
Inspirational Choir: Rehearsal: Saturday before the 4th Sunday, 4:00 p.m. The primary focus of this choir is to edify and glorify God through festive music.
Men’s Chorus: Rehearsal: Tuesday & Thursday before the 3rd Sunday, 7:00 p.m. This choir is open to all men whose desire is to fellowship with brothers in Christ.
Youth Choir: Rehearsal Saturday before the 2nd Sunday, 10:30 a.m. The Youth Choir teaches spiritual truths focused to penetrate the depth of the children’s hearts and provide an outlet for musical expressions. The Youth Choir also serves as a vehicle for the building of confidence and self-esteem in young adults through the Word of God.
Pure Praise: Pure Praise is a small ensemble, which leads the church body in Praise and Worship.
