Lastly, the name “Ebenezer” comes from 1 Samuel 7:12, which states, “Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far has the LORD helped us.” (NIV) “Stone of Help” is what we are. Our Church Motto is we are the church where “. . . the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts. . . .” That’s what we try to show all the time individually and collectively—love for others straight from our hearts. Prayerfully, you will see just what we mean as you peruse through our site!
